Project Manager
Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commercial furniture projects
from order release through final installation and project closeout. The role ensures projects are delivered on
schedule, within scope and budget, and in coordination with sales, coordination, design, warehouse +
installation teams, and clients.
The Project Manager owns the project workflow, proactively managing schedules, installation planning, and
issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery. Their focus is project execution and installation
success.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Project Ownership
● Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects from order entry through installation completion.
● Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
● Develop project timelines and installation schedules.
● Identify potential project risks and resolve issues proactively.
● Maintain ownership and accountability for project execution.
Project Planning & Coordination
● Review order documentation, drawings, and specifications prior to product release.
● Confirm installation scope, labor requirements, and site conditions.
● Coordinate project schedules with sales, design, warehouse, installation teams, and clients.
● Confirm site readiness before installation begins.
● Manage phased projects and multi-install schedules.
Installation Preparation
● Prepare installation work order packets including drawings, work orders, receivers, and project
instructions.
● Coordinate equipment and installation resources.
● Confirm installer schedules and crew requirements.
● Ensure field teams receive all required documentation.
Product & Warehouse Coordination
● Review receiving reports to confirm project product readiness.
● Coordinate installation scheduling once the product is staged.
● Communicate product shortages or damages that may impact installation timelines.
● Confirm warehouse staging and project readiness prior to installation.
Client & Internal Communication
● Serve as the primary point of contact for project coordination.
● Provide project updates to internal teams and clients.
● Confirm installation schedules with clients prior to arrival.
● Communicate delivery schedules and installation timelines.
● Escalate issues that impact project timelines.
Field Coordination
● Provide leadership and direction for installation teams.
● Conduct site visits when necessary.
● Coordinate with building management or general contractors.
● Troubleshoot installation issues as they arise.
● Ensure installations meet design intent and quality standards.
Financial & Project Controls
● Monitor installation labor budgets.
● Review labor requirements for accuracy.
● Assist with change orders and scope adjustments.
● Identify cost risks and communicate solutions.
Product Readiness
● Product received by warehouse
● Product inspected for damage
● Product tagged/staged by project
Site Readiness
● Construction complete
● Flooring installed
● Electrical ready
● Building access confirmed
Installation Logistics
● Installation crew scheduled
● Equipment arranged if required
● Delivery or staging plan confirmed
● Client contact and schedule confirmed
Documentation
● Installation drawings prepared
● Work order packet complete
● Product lists and notes included
Qualifications
● Experience in commercial furniture project management preferred
● Strong organizational and scheduling skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Understanding of installation drawings and specifications
● Strong communication and problem-solving skills
● Experience coordinating with warehouse and installation teams
Compensation, Benefits, & Culture
● Salary: $65,000-$85,000 and discretionary bonus up to 10% (based on individual and company performance)

● Work Environment: we maintain a collaborative, in-office culture. This role is based in our Denver showroom four days per week, with one optional work-from-home day.
