Strategic Account Manager – Colorado Springs

We’re hiring in Colorado Springs! We are looking for the best; our people are our greatest advantage. As the longest established commercial furniture dealership in Colorado, we have grown substantially over our 85 years as a family owned and operated business.

This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for a candidate to lead and build momentum on behalf of M&Co and Haworth in the Southern Colorado territory with the support of our existing business development, sales support, design, project management, and installation teams.

You will collaborate with executive leadership to scale the team that supports this Colorado Springs market.  In tandem with sales and finance leadership, we will outline a business plan to support a shared near, medium and long term vision for this market.

Responsibilities:

  • Territory Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan for Colorado Springs in partnership with dealership and manufacturer leadership 
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing M&Co accounts, leveraging the groundwork established by the existing M&Co footprint and the business development team. Pursue new leads that align with M&Co growth verticals
  • Consultative Leadership: Manage the full sales lifecycle, providing expert guidance on budget, product specifications, and risk mitigation
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate a high-level network of developers, architects, and brokers through intentional, documented outreach.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure meticulous accuracy in quoting and project documentation to maintain target margins.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years, preferably within the AEC or furniture industries.
  • Attributes: Professional poise and “gritty” resourcefulness
  • Interest: Building community trust, fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, and navigating public/private development initiatives

Compensation:  

  • 401(k) and healthcare in benefits package (available upon request)
  • Guaranteed annual commission range of $75,000-$85,000, plus a highly competitive, unlimited commission structure

  • Showroom in Colorado Springs
  • Sales resources in Northern Colorado
  • 26,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Denver
